A Little Bit Of Our Story

Oxlades has vast experience and knowledge of art materials which has been shared with Brisbane artists
for over 120 years.
In fact, in 1910, William, George C., Allen and Matt Oxlade, formed Oxlade Bros Pty Ltd., Painters, Decorators and Signwriters.
The shop in Fortitude Valley is still serving the Brisbane art community after more than 94 years in its current location. And now, the South Brisbane shop, formerly based on the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University campus, extends that experience and knowledge of art materials and practice to a wider art community in South East Queensland.
